The Diocesan Education Secretary (DES) Rev Geoffrey Kagoye Mukono Diocese told Head teachers to spearhead good discipline in the Diocesan schools. Speaking this, he was at a welcome function of the new Headteacher and the official send off of former Headteacher Mr. Mukwanya of Mukono High School.
Rev Kagoye used this opportunity and told School heads to try and see that good discipline is exhibited by our students in all diocesan schools since they're seen as role models. He appealed to the new Head teacher that as "you start work in your new site, you need to have good healthy relationship with teachers".
The Board of Governors of Mukono High school as well as the Director Human Rights Commission of Uganda Dr. Ssewanyana Livingston appealed to the new Headteacher to raise education standards in this school as well as keeping a good relationship with the parents to develop it.
The new Headteacher Mr. Mbaziira Kaumi Fredrick said "it's good to know the new tasks given as well knowing the people am going to work with" and he reechoed on discipline, saying "these students need help us and that I will make efforts to see that good academic environment is given to them".
The Former Acting Head teacher, Mr. Mukasa said "it hasn't been easy making work go on amidst the many tasks, limited enhancement tools and meagre financial resources"
